Isn’t it strange how such an art form can just drop like that

Always makes me wonder how the brass instruments kept songs going, gave it rhythm, meaning, carried it though just playing accords, back in the 70’s…
Since the 80’s there’s only been beats, beats, beats and E-guitars and brass somewhat died out instantaneously, coming of the 80’s…
Pity! Sure, fat sounds, no synth in the main arrangements, pure power!
Great tune, better times :-), great work Isaac!
    God Bless Your Soul!

Katt Williams is too friendly to be Gator. Gator was a rotten scoundrel that would cut up a woman’s face if she came up short.

Katt would be cracking jokes and ****. But he would be funny. Gator just wasn’t funny … at all.

Pure talent is relevant today, only it is in other forms. The message is what is lost……The man doesn’t control it the ppl as a whole possess it.

    Peace on your journey

Artist like Isaac Hayes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and so many others were allowed to express emotions through music. I believe that Isaac Hayes’ talent wouldn’t be displayed in today’s music because corporations have so much control on what is put out.

If they did a remake of Truck Turner you know who’d be PERFECT for the role of Gator? Katt Williams.

The Power of Isaac Hayes is unique! This tune is taken from the Original Movie Soundtrack of “Truck Turner” - relseaed in July 1974 on Enterprise Records.
