AIG’s balance sheet for the final three months of last year showed a loss of $62 billion for the US insurance giant. That figure is despite the corporation already receiving a total of $150 billion in taxpayer money. Now it has been given access to another $30 billion with government officials admitting it may not be the last time the government has to step in. John Terrett reports.

AIG is crap health insurance. a thousand bucks a month, HUGE deductible, 80/20 policy, won’t cover babies or baby making. When you do make a claim you have to fight for every cent. Total ripoff I say let them fail & the Federal government will do a better job of directly insuring people.
